The diversification of the Lexus Australia range continues with the confirmation that the highly anticipated RX 450h+ Plug-in Hybrid will be available in April 2025.
The expanded RX lineup will offer even more choice, with three powertrains – including Hybrid Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles – available in both two-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations.

A commanding and contemporary presence
Combining sophisticated luxury with an array of features, the RX 450h+ includes semi-aniline leather-accented seat trim, 10-way power-adjustable front seats with memory, heated and ventilated front and outboard rear seats, a woodgrain-look instrument panel and steering wheel ornamentation, as well as power reclining and folding rear seats.
go further with less petrol
The new RX 450h+ utilises a 2.5-litre series parallel Plug-in Hybrid paired with front and rear electric motors to produce a combined system output of 227kW, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in a claimed 6.5 seconds.
It is the same hybrid powertrain used in the NX 450h+, with a powerful lithium-ion battery designed to be the primary power source for inner urban driving, resulting in an Australian Design Rule (ADR) fuel-consumption of 1.3L/100 kms1 based on the NEDC combined test cycle.

An expanded RX lineup for even more choice
The upcoming arrival of the RX 450h+ is a further option for Lexus customers looking to reduce their CO2 tailpipe emissions over comparable petrol-only vehicles without compromising on performance.
The RX 450h+ comes exclusively in Sports Luxury grade, positioned just below the RX 500h F Sport Performance in price, with the two high-end RX grades offering their own distinctive take on luxury to meet the diverse needs of customers.
